Here I am dabbling in facebook now and I’ve barely learned all the ropes of blogging. Several skills I have yet to master. Would anybody be willing to enlighten me?
1. Read about it here and you can click on “here” to go to another link?
2. I’ve seen entire scripture passages pasted to a post?
3. You Tube videos?
4. Customize your home page with your own pictures?
5. Have comments automatically sent to your e-mail?
6. New posts from your favorite bloggers automatically e-mailed? Some seem to have subscribe others don’t.
Please excuse my blondness, but I’d appreciate your help.
I have a gazilion blog posts swimming around in my head and I can’t get any of them out. So many ideas come streaming through my mind while I do laundry, cook dinner, vacume, you know all those repetitive mindless chores. Then when I sit down to get some of it out, it goes away!! At one point I started a list of things I’d like to blog about…. Where is that list?….Hmmmm… HERE IT IS!
Here’s some blogs I should post:
Could it be satan?
Potty talk
Recovering PK
What is a man?
Games to play
Favorite websites
Time Vacume
The ghost light
Chores
Books about boys
….I don’t feel like it right now…maybe later
| Why did I call my blog Intense Simplicity? I have been told that I’m intense. I like it that way. I prefer intense over superficial. Don’t want to scare anyone off, but that’s how God made me, so take it or leave it. Why Simplicity? Even though I am very intense and enjoy deep spiritual contemplation, I’m also a simple person. Little things like roasting marshmellows, going fishing, reading bedtime stories amuse me the most. My aim in life is to keep my priorities straight which means not allowing my life to be cluttered with non-necessities and keeping it simple sister. Thus the name Intense Simplicity. In my blog you will find both intense and simple considerations. |
| Life in our household can be hectic at times. I am constantly finding myself needing to say “no” to a lot of social events so I can have enough time with my family. Since I still want to get to know and spend time with people outside my home, I thought blogging would be a great way to connect. My mind is always chewing on something, so it would be neat to throw it out there and see what others think too. Several MOPS moms have expressed an interest in our Bible study but the time doesn’t work for them, so I’m hoping to incorporate some thoughts from that as well. I’m looking forward to chatting with you:)
